No nudity from Audrey - or just about anyone else

Review Details:

Amelie is a wonderful movie, but don't see it expecting to see unbearably Audrey Hepburn lookalike (and namesake) Audrey Tautou in the buff. She has one short "sex" scene -- played as a joke, and there is a bit of a love scene at the end, but that's it. The celebrated "orgasm counting" scene (which doesn't feature Audrey) offers the film's only notable nudity, and it goes by so fast if you blink you miss it. There is no understandable reason why the MPAA gave this movie an R -- the same rating given to Real Cancun and Jackass -- when I've seen stronger material in PG-13 films! But even if foreign films turn you off, Amelie is worth seeing just to watch Audrey Tautou make magic.

While Audrey may be gorgeous, I don't remember her being naked in the film. In one of the final shots, she lies naked on the bed, but her breasts, etc are covered. No need for her to be listed.

Guys... Audrey Tautou is gorgeous... there is a delicious scene of her clumping down some steps, jiggling all the way, but sadly this movie will not see her in much light skin-wise.

There IS a scene of her with a "boyfriend" in bed doing it, it's a kind of joke scene during a flashback, in which he is laying on top of her and you can only see her head, neck and naked shoulder as she looks towards the roof and laughs to herself.

I can't wait for a serious nude scene from this actor, hopefully we won't have to wait too long.

P.S. Despite this, Amelie is an amazing movie... very clever and continuously funny.
