I sure wish all of the wonderful file uploaders would pick one share site.

It would cost a small fortune to purchase memberships to all of them.

People pay to download clips?

I guess some sites pay more then others, some have better service...i've never uploaded anything or had an account so i dont know why

but i'm glad there are multiple share sites in use, means i can download multiple vids at a time as a free user.

When Rapidshare was the standard, many of us belonged to it. It was a bargain. Now, Rapidshare has lost its dominance with its own stupidity and greed so there is no standard. Plus, many posters try to pick up a few pennies (literally pennies) by uploading to one particular site that pays them .0001 per download. So clips are now all over the map.

If you use JDownloader it makes using all of the file sharing sites much easier even if you don't pay to join any of them.

I just read about a new file sharing site that sounds interesting.

Why not try torrent sites ?

Because torrents are a good way to pick up viruses, etc. and ruin your computer. The large downloading sites have sophisticated scanning software.
