But it seems it would be difficult to implement

And alternative might be that the non-nudity titles should not be listed as a database entry, but maybe within the BIOGRAPHY (AKA FIlMOGRAPHY) section for the actor/actress so users can post non-nude titles in that part of the database. And if there should be an nudity discovery in the non-nude list the webmaster (or other moderator) would be the only other one to remove them from the non-nudity list.

Pirates of the Caribean needs to be removed....I just watched it last night (pretty cool flick) but there isn't even a hint of nudity.

Some pinhead actually added Titan A.E. because Matt Damon provided the voice for one of the characters. Nude listing for a cartoon :?:

Diane Keaton in . . . Something's Gotta Give (2003)

Both of the existing reviews should be removed.
1. dav345 should know better than just to post a link and not a review

2. penis should learn to be polite and put the gripe in the message board

Webmaster - When are you going to start correcting these issues?
Also you should think about censoring the reviewers who are abusing the system. 3 strikes (or whatever level you set) and you get demoted to a non-reviewer or to a lower level reviewer until they can prove that they are ready to use the database responsibly.

Sinnema, it is ridiculous to suggest that there be reviews of movies without nudity just to say that there is no nudity. Would a website that reviews Foods Containing Nuts list every type of food there is and list "no nuts" by the ones without nuts? No. They would just review the foods with nuts. Like here, where we only review movies WITH nude scenes.

I'm just saying, movies that MIGHT have nude scenes should be mentioned, if only to warn others not to see them.

The movies "Heartbreakers" and "Tomcats" come to mind. Imagine how many of us might have paid money to see those movies based on the possibility of nudity, if it weren't for some reviewers stating there was no nudity.

I'm NOT suggesting that every G-rated movie ever made should be listed just to give it zero stars. But movies that are rated R for sexual content should be given at least one review here, just to let us know that someone has seen it and it has no nudity -- it will save the rest of us from wasting our money.

THe solution is simple
In the artist biography - list the entire filmography of the actor/actress
and make the ones that have "nude" scenes in bold
This is the method that the "bare facts" used in that guide and worked quite well (now we just have to get the webmaster attention again)
Has anyone every successfully contacted the webmaster via email?
Never replies as far as I know (at least to my email asking them to just at least say what the status is of what they plan next)

Yeah, but how do we know which ones to put in bold before someone reviews the movie? And how do we know the difference between a non-bold movie and one that might have nudity but hasn't been reviewed yet?

There's still the problem of not knowing if there's nudity if a movie is not included, or if no one has bothered to review it yet.

That is simple.
You post the entire filmography with non-bold print in the biography of the actor/actress
Then for the known nude scenes you change to bold
Finally, when someone reviews a movie that is non-bold and determines that there is no nudity then the title changes to italic as reviewed

So in summary

Standard print - Unreviewed movie
Bold print - nudity exists (whatever nude means) and is in the database
italic - reviewed and no known nudity exists

If for some reason someone discovers some uncaught nudity in an italic print the title just changes from italic to non-italic and bold

Sounds simple, the only sticking point is who gets to change the font type for the movie.

When someone wants to change the filmography of the artist then they just sumbit a new list to the database and include which title they changed from the last time the filmography was changed. If they are not correct the filmography is kept unchanged

The hard part is getting the webmaster to fix the ability to edit the artist's biography. THis does not work and the webmaster has been missing in action for quite awhile.

OK, now can you imagine that A & E would be showing a scene of nudity with Hayley Mills? No. Not sure why this is in the database. :?:

They showed Angie Dickinson naked a couple times in her Biography.

I totally agree. The other method suggested by thefaceman32 is too complicated for the average idiot who uses this forum (there's no way in hell that we can expect the webmasters to maintain this) . The actor/actress bios would become a confusing mess in no time. I'd rather have more information than less. An extra posting that says "no nudity" is short and sweet, informative and saves me rental money, and only costs me a few seconds of reading time (BFD !).

I second that suggestion.

It could easily be integrated into the bio layout by adding a column header similar to the current one that says "This actor has NOT appeared nude in the following films..."

Not sure how well this idea would fly. I understand the concern, but in terms of implementation, this one tweak requires a gigantic load of new data, none of which would have nudity content. We want to focus on celeb nudity, not be a carbon copy of IMDB. I'd suggest using the IMDB links on the right sidebar of each CNDB entry to get complete (nude and non-nude) filmographies.
