is it me or the post view count is incorrect ?

the view counts have been soaring recently..

It's probably nothing. It's a popular site, and posts get viewed by a ton of people.

Nothing to concern yourself with.

The counts are correct

The stats don't lie. However... the numbers are based on entries into the topic. Doesn't matter if it is the same person or 10000 people. They are counted as '1' view each time they enter the topic.
