Great idea. But we should go back to actual news and questions about who is nude in a movie is you see there is skin in the rating. Or has adult content and someone might know.

The "other" thread is about all nude scenes and possible upcoming nude scenes based on some evidence. This thread has become one person's fanciful ramblings based on nothing but his imagination.

Not true, on two accounts. First, the other thread is about any upcoming nude scenes. There is no stipulation made excluding first-time nude scenes, and I have no idea why you'd suggest that. Secondly, IN THEORY this thread might be nice to have separately (if it were FACT-BASED, which it rarely is). But there are plenty of mentions of possible nudity from people who have had nude scenes already, such as Kate Hudson. So, it's not a "first-timers only" thread either.

The entirety of this thread is roger76 saying "this girl is in a movie, and nude scenes tend to happen in movies, so she might have a nude scene." It's almost as worthless as bushleague's "there's a random girl in panties" music video thread (which has neither celebrities nor nudity), but at least nobody replies to that one.

The section of your text that I bolded is false. They are not "going to." Roger76 is just sharing his fantasy that they might. Which gets boring fast when it's everyone, and like the broken clock I mentioned before, he's wrong 11 out of 12 times.

Has anyone watched Freida Pinto's new movie Trishna? It was released in the UK and other European countries already but isn't released in the US 'til July 13th. She's supposed to have her first real nude scene in it. Excerpt from her Esquire interview:

"“It was hard,” she says, “but it was a small crew, and they were good at not making their presence felt. They didn’t go, ‘Quick! She’s nearly naked! Get your camera out!’” She cracks up again. “Seriously, if I was ever in the position that Trishna was in, I’d probably kill him. And not at the end of the movie, but waaaay before that.”

There’s no guarantee the film will even see release in India, where it was made. The Indian censors are a prickly bunch. But Pinto isn’t fussed. “Even if it doesn’t, the people who want to see it will find a way to get an uncensored copy,” she says. In fact, she’s quite happy to be even more daring in her next movies. She’s OK with appearing topless, for instance, or even fully nude, if the part demanded it.

“In Shame, Carey Mulligan has this full-frontal scene, and the way it was shot, and the context, was completely fine,” she says. “It wasn’t just there to titillate. But in Immortals, there was a nude scene in it, and it was purely for people to get a hard-on in the theatre. And people still think my body double was actually me. Interesting that she says she would be ok with the Shame nude scene. Obviously Freida couldn't play the sister but I wouldn't mind someone other than Carey in that role since we've seen her topless before. Apparently a lot of actresses wanted that part.

That's great news. Freida is gorgeous, and any guy who like Latins babes has got to be impressed with her. She looked fabtastic in Miral, no nudity in that one, but she was stunning. Nice to know she's cool with nudity and maybe we might get some great stuff from her in the future.







That's a great quote and I like her attitude, but it almost sounds like a desperate attempt to get some recognition for her nudity in that film. If you read any movie reviews or on line comments all anyone talked about was Fassbinder's full frontal and her nudity was totally ignored (other than some clips on porn forums). Kind of a sad commentary on today's media and society when no one even cares anymore about naked women and cock shots seem to be the only thing that matters (see American Reunion for further evidence).--- A distrubing trend, but it can't last forever. Indeed. We get a dude tasting another man's dick in Hangover 2 as a joke scene, but we'd never get a woman recreating Return of the Jedi with a Boba Fett action figure and her pussy as the sarlacc pit.

Hollywood claims naked men are funny and naked women are exploitative. It's similar to how every dad on tv (including commercials) is a knuckle-dragging retard, but you show a stupid mom and they'll shut you down.

And what makes it worse is that women in Hollywood are constantly whining about how movies/TV treat them!

You can complain all you want, but the fact remains that the reaction to female nudity in the media and the general public is much different than the reaction to male nudity. While this continues, you will find many actress will still be reluctant to do nudity unless it has some higher moral purpose.
