Someone just posted this in a thread and I started asking questions, but this is probably a better place on the forum to discuss it.

Does anyone have any real info or insight into the alleged Carrie Prejean masturbation video? It's a few years old, but see this thread for a refresher.

I'm as skeptical as anyone else, but people seem to have dismissed it simply because it appeared on another website without naming her. To me that proves nothing either way. I'm curious if anyone has anything more conclusive to go on. Anyone know where the video is really from or who the girl really is? Can anyone identify any body or facial differences or marks that might eliminate it or add credibility? Was this made for a website (which would disprove it) or is it a real amatuer clip? To me there seems to be enough facial and body similarites that it could possibly be her, although the darkness and angles of the clip make those similarities rather superficial (but at least they don't eliminate her, which they easily could have done).

Carrie Prejean admits the existence of the tapes but no one has ever been able to confirm they were ever put on line. Here's what we do know. There were at least 8 different videos of her having "solo non-sex with herself" (as she calls it) and at least two sources were known to have had them.

1) The Miss America Pagent people showed the videos to her and her lawyers at a meeting in order to get her to drop her $1 Million lawsuit against the pagent (which she did).
2) Vivid Entertainment had them and wanted to market them but wasn't going to do it (or couldn't do it) without her consent, which wasn't going to happen.

Neither of these sources is likely to leak them on the internet because they have nothing to gain from doing that. To me that's kind of a strike against it's authenticity, but I don't know if it really means very much. Other people had to have them as well. Someone gave the tapes to the pagent and to Vivid and it damn sure wasn't Carrie!
It's possible an exboyfriend put them on line, and Carrie has confirmed that she made them for an ex, but I don't think anyone has ever mentioned the source of the leak or that they were ever put on the internet. She also claims she was 17 at the time, but she had to be at least 18 in some of the videos because there's no way Vivid would have been looking to market them otherwise.

I don't see any reason to believe it is her, but I don't see any reason to believe it isn't either. If it is her, she played it right. Just ignore it, make no comment, and no one will ever know. Some of these celebs involved in hackings and other leaks of compromising material should take note. Freaking out and saying "OMG I'm naked on the internet, please don't look at it" is about the worst thing you can do and only ensures you'll get maximum attention and exposure (like ScarJo, Hudgens, Erin Andrews, etc).

Thanks for the thoughts and replies gentlemen. It's probably pointless for me to even bring it up since it's a dead story, it's nearly 3 years old so no new information is likely to surface. I still think that alleged video just might be the real deal but given the information that's available I don't see how that could be verified. Maybe someone has some info we never heard before, but this is one mystery that's likely to remain unsolved.

Yeah it's good to be skeptical, but all these doubts are based only on people's skepticism and absolutely nothing else. I'm not saying it is her, I'm skeptical too, but no one believed the Erin Andrews video either until she herself confirmed it. Until someone gives me some reason (any reason) not to believe it, I can't say it isn't her (and puh-lease, "I don't think it's her" is not a really good reason).

- There's facial recognition software out there, maybe it can be matched to someone to offer evidence one way or another
- Maybe someone can identify it as being made for one of those amatuer porn sites, or another source, which would disprove it.
- Maybe someone can identify a birth mark (or other distinctive body or facial features) giving some evidence one way or the other (pretty tough given how dark the video is).
- Maybe her ex will upload it again somewhere with some confirming proof (that's pretty doubtful).

Who knows, maybe a definitive answer will be found one day but I kind of doubt it now.

Yeah, supposedly it's out there. For instance, find a naked photo of some girl on line and it will match it to pics from her facebook page or other online photos (put a name to a face so to speak). I don't know how well it works and I haven't seen anyone use it, but allegedly it can be done

Just like the Carrie Prejean video, I'm kind of skeptical of that as well, but I haven't seen it so I can't say. And even if it's not very good right now, it will be getting better. The amount of internet privacy and anonymity just keeps evaporating with every increase in technology. But photo quality would have to be a limiting factor. For instance, in this alleged Carrie Prejean video her face is a little dark and there are a lot of shadows, so I'd think that would be very difficult to get a confirmed match even with the best software program.
