To use “take my ball and go home” as a metaphor, it certainly was childish of me delete my links. To me, it was certainly less “work” than making the clips and uploading them in the first place. I considered this:
http://www.cndb.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.ph ... ght=#76097 to be the equivalent of pissing on my efforts although it wasn’t directed at me personally. That from someone who has never posted a self-made clip on this forum, and was reinforced by jel whose trade is personal insults and shit, and vidman who posts in order to get traffic to his pay site.
And of course there are clown(s) using multiple userids trying to get me to put together clips that they will use to make money. I know these guys can’t be stopped, but I worked for all of you degenerate carrot-cuffers (endearment), not them. As always, the few fucked it up for the many.
When I take my time to edit a clip and upload it to a share site, I don’t expect anyone to blow sunshine up my ass. I know others will pass it on and post it elsewhere, and yes, I stole from the film industry. It’s the internet – compensation for content is still evolving.
However, why should I take my time to make and upload clips when fine fellows like lostman or theanalyst will surf the net and find them for you? If you’ve got the money, go see vidman. Want someone to crap on your chest, see jel.

Since it was my post that you're responding to here, allow me to respond. I've got no agenda here. I'm here simply because I enjoy celebrity nude clips and I regard it as a diverting pastime at best (frankly, more of a waste of time if I'm honest about it). I'm never going to take this stuff very seriously and forgive my chuckles at how seriously forum members take this stuff frequently. When I see things like "credit to the original artist", referring to an uploader, yeah I find that incredibly silly. It's easy enough to overlook. For one post, I decided not to, and I never anticipated it turning out to be a key factor in anyone's decision making process. It wasn't intended to piss on anyone's efforts uploading material. The intent was in jest of people taking the whole thing too seriously. Nothing more, nothing less.
I do not go around finding clips and posting them as my own as you implied with your last sentence. If that's what you think your hurt over my post is befuddling your analysis. And for what it's worth, I agree with your stance on people trying to make money off of finding other clips on the net.
But I'm sorry, I just don't think there's any holy hellfire sin being committed when someone reposts a clip they find on the internet without going through the trouble of uploading it themselves. Maybe they should give credit to the uploader, but if they don't and all they are doing is sharing the clip, I fail to see much foul. The whole thing is like seeding a torrent you downloaded. You may not have created the torrent but by seeding it you are helping others have access.
It's the nature of the internet and it's not going to change. There's a reason you spend the time capturing these clips and uploading them and if at one time you felt it was worth your time and now you don't, that's your decision. But I don't know why you'd take such offense to a post I made and make decisions based on that. I'm not unappreciative of people sharing clips, but it is what it is and forgive me for seeing nothing more to it than that.
