Dysfunctional teenager Pierre (Louis Garrel) decides he's a nudist today and heads off to the beach, much to the bemusement of the housekeeper. Still, I expect she's relieved he's not going to spend the morning wanking and pissing on the carpet again - she has to clear that stuff up!

What's the most embarrassing thing about visiting a nude beach (besides the obvious one of having to walk around in front of everyone with your penis dangling)? Why bumping into your mother of course! Especially if she has a sense of humour like Hélène's (Isabelle Huppert). But since he was starring in a film called Ma mère (2004) he could expect something like this to happen couldn't he? Someone is credited with editing this wretched mess but seeing as he plainly hasn't done any actual work I've hacked away at it for you in an effort to make this clip watchable.

Meanwhile, Mum has nicked off with Pierre's towel and on the long walk back to the villa he finds he's quite the tourist attraction! Oh dear, he really didn't think this one through did he? When he gets home he finds Mum is back already and, er, chatting to her friend Réa (Joana Preiss). Double Oh dear! But at least she seems pleased to meet him.

How to rip an AVI from a DVD -:- Dive into my Sea of Sleaze

Do you use a shareware program to rip from DVD's? I've never done it on the computer. I use A/V equipment. But I'd like to start making my own clips to share.

I use Handbrake to rip from DVDs.

How do you break it up into clips? I can only decode the whole dvd or selected chapters, I don't see a way to select specific begin and end points.

After I rip with HandBrake, I edit the video with QuickTime Player. You have to have QuickTime Pro to do this. It's a pretty bare-bones editor, but all I really need to do is select portions of the video to keep or delete. You can probably find a freeware program that will do the same.
