Would porn be defined on CNDB as "videos and pics showing penetration?" Because, alot of these cinemax babes and pornstars do mainstream work that isnt porn, and also they're very famous. e.g. Beverly Lynne who is famous and in MrSkin.com but doesnt show penetration. I hate to ask but you know some moron will complain...

Great point! In that case I would, personally, leave it to the video / image being posted. I also amended our global guidelines here viewtopic.php?f=14&t=18053 which can/should be followed.

In the end, if it can go either way -- make a personal judgement call. If something needs changed, CNdb mods will do the changing. If its the softcore skin-a-max movie, I'd vote for Celeb zone. If its on the "900 channels" (I'm a DirecTV client lol) I'd vote adult xxx.

Any concerns on that, don't be hesitant to send over a PM to a mod / myself, or even just post here.

I use the View new posts option and it's now full of non-celeb stuff I'm not interested in. Is it possible to allow users to block the non-celeb boards from view?

Not from there, no it isn't possible to hide the forum. Each post is marked if it is new or not on the left icons, so enter the specific forum and all the top threads are new marked with a semi-orange icon.

Might as well do away with the view new posts option then as you did before as you have made it next to useless

And telling us to go to the section to use the "mark all posts" option ( which as far as I can figure is what you are saying in the last part of your statement ) isn't helpful .

You cause a problem and expect us to clear up your mess

Lots of forums can do do hidden sections so why can't this one .

"view new posts" does exactly what it is supposed to do, so it isn't a problem. Not going to make a "View new posts that you know I'll like and hide the ones I don't" button. I'll look into amending the code that is already in place so you'll be able to select which forum to show -- but other than that, "view new posts" are in fact, "view new posts."


No, use the icons, it is what they are for. Each thread has an icon to the left of it on the main pages. It will be marked in different colors. The white means you read it already, the semi-orange means it is new since you last viewed.



It isn't a mess, look at the view counts in that forum. It was a request by many members to allow the content but make it separated. So thats exactly what we did. Those that want the content are free to view it -- those that don't can ignore it.

"Popular Demand" does not include 100% of the audience.

Bottom line:
The forum has been released for 1 & 1/2 days -- already have a number of threads being posted, members asking if & how they can post, and the posted threads are being done correctly. Every contributor has followed the rules and tagged properly. Simply amazing. I'd have to say its a great addition to an already great website & forum. (yes, 'tooting' our own horn)

Strange how all the members posting there only joined after you announced it apart from one poster who somehow managed to post there before it was announced

a) Threads can be moved from point a to point b
b) Lip is an older member
c) I'm happy to know we have knew members & contributors coming to the board. I welcome them all with "open arms"

People are here to have fun & discuss & write reviews, not complain about every update we do. If you have a suggestion, put it in the Suggestion Box. Complaints can go there to. Do it properly and respectfully, or it will just be ignored.
