If this is true, i think it's f*****g ridiculous. Do people have a Madonna/Whore thing about Wonder Woman? C'mon. Lots of established actresses have done the Playboy thing. It can't possibly be THAT big of a deal.
Christian Bale appeared bare-assed committing all kinds of sick atrocities in American Psycho - does anyone question whether or not he should be Batman?I, for one, would've thought her appearing nude in Playboy would have enhanced her chances of running around in a costume designed to embarrass strippers.

I remember how much former WWE womens wrestler Chyna wanted to play the role a few years back. That wouild be truly dire and awful to say the least.
Would much rather Charisma Carpenter played the role, but do believe there's better actresses out there for the role.

Saw the pics online though. I thought she looked great. They were right in dumping her from Angel though she was starting to drag the show down. All said I'd be happy with her as WW (I'm not a DC fan though so my vote does not count).

Greg is an outspoken feminist and he has a tremendous amount of respect for the character. I think that quote might have just been wishful thinking. Greg, I'm sure, would absolutely hate the idea of someone who's posed for PLAYBOY starring in WONDER WOMAN, because it would send the wrong message to little girls looking for a hero. But I doubt the studio has any such reservations. The only factor they care about in determining who plays Wonder Woman is whether or not the actress chosen will help ticket sales.

If her appearing in Playboy is cited as a reason for taking her out of contention for Wonder Woman does seem unfair if other actors playing successful comic characters now, have appeared nude before.

I don't care about the Playboy spread, but, she's got way too high of a "slutty feel" to be playing WW. Not that WW's should be a nun or something, but, CC has more of a feel of a streetwalker to me (a high class one, mind you, and nothing wrong with that, it just feels wrong for WW to me).
