So I tried a search today and it says "Thank you for your post". I assume that means nothing matched

Something to fix when you got the time.

They fixed the "Failed sending email :: PHP ::" bug by just changing the text to "Thank you for your post". We, in the biz, call this a hack. Instead of a "bug" , it's now a "feature" ;)

Considering the inappropriate places it comes up — failed searches, I got it on a "Mark all forum topic as read" link, probably a few others that aren’t leaping to mind at the moment — it would be a good idea to undo that silly kludge. Always saying "Thank you for your post" to users who haven't posted is worse than an unexplained error message.

Hello,

I am a new user and I have to say this is really a problem. I can't make a search! I remember that in the past I could search this forum (before I registered).

What are you searching for? The forum search tool seems to be working fine for me.

What is the problem? The search works just fine, its just when nothing matches your keywords it says "thank you for your post".

ah, that's lame. I'll add that to the ever-growing list of development items to fix when the dev team gets moving.

Apparently the PHPBB upgrade is officially in the works, so maybe the "thank you for your post" default screen will be fixed

I just got a "DEBUG MODE" error screen. Post went through ok, but it gave the DEBUG thing after the entry.

Evidently the techs have been on vacation. Still not fixed.
Here is what I got:
Failed sending email :: PHP ::

DEBUG MODE

Line : 234
File : emailer.php

But my post did work. I guess that's what counts.
