Yes, and you can choose either Windows Media Player or QuickTime for the format of your downloads.

you mean the free ones, downloading instead of streaming? open the windows media one, right-click on the video and choose properaties, and you'll see the address of the actual file somewhere there. copy it, go to a forum, write in in a post and click "preview"(don't actually post it). then you'll see it as a link- right-click on it and choose "save target as".

to download the quicktime version, change the address of it's streaming page to one that's similar to the download address of the windows media one, and do the same.

instead of making a link out of it in a forum, there are some download managers where you can put it instead.

If you're a member, the "save as..." link is in the bottom right corner of the movie viewer, otherwise on the free pics/clips page:

you'll have options for Windows Media and Quicktime downloads.

In each case, just do the right-click "save target as" or "save link as" option.

I think the free pics/clips get updated every 3 days? So it usually comes out to about 4-6 good clips a week.

they keep changing it for some reason... sometimes these lead to the file itself(which is when this works), and sometimes to a page with the streamed video.

Recently, whenever I have tried the Save As routine, I get an htm file, so I don't bother with the vids anymore.
