To combat the spammers maybe a few upstanding members here should be given the "privilege" of being a moderator, but only for deleting spammers. No offense to the staff here but it would keep the board clean quicker.

Luckily the "change of management" also means they'll upgrade PHPBB for the first time in 4 years, so we'll be able to combat spam a little better now

They already did. It stopped this sort of spam for quite a while.

That "a while" has obviously come to a screeching halt.

CNDB and MrSkin cares about this forum like they do about my comments.
They could give a sh... about it.
But it serves EVERYONE right who uses this forum. If you do not complain to the sponsors and owners of the site NOTHING will be done.
But then again all you users of this forum do not CARE either.

that'll be good if that happens CNDB because there's been too many spammers and not to mention people starting fights when all the majority of us do is post and request like we are supposed to. maybe kicking them out of the group or banning them,or even just simply deleting threads will end this when it happens. I like a relaxed place to post requests and when people start fights it accomplishes nothing. So i hope it works out,cndb.

actually the only main things you were concerned about was the "hello? anyone?" thing and as i said i don't do that anymore,and the so called "not thanking" issue which i always said it. apart from that i don't know what you are talking about. and i agree. i want the spammers gone too,as i said. so what's the problem? and again i still don't see how Ron and I are the same people. yeah he did the same thing i did at the beginning,but i would never come up with a "clothes eaten by moths" topic. even though original at that,i wouldn't be interested in that kind of topic. all i have ever asked for is KO type stuff,scenes with socks,etc. Just wish this board had IP access. then you'd see we are two different people,man. I really hope we can at least calmly figure out something so we can get along.

I think there should be more moderators to delete these spammers.Each time I log in I expect to see "genuine" posts,wether new ones of good quality or new replies.I don't want to see new posts of rubbish.New mods would be a good idea to ban these spammers.
