Are there any movies where they show a girl posing for an art class, or just an artist?

Here is THE movie:

Emmanuelle Beart in La Belle Noiseuse. The movie is three hours long, and Beart spends at least two hours fully nude posing in various contorted positions for a painter. This is the greatest of the "artist's nude model" genre.

Also, there's Laura Linney and Sheila Zane posing in Maze.

And Karen Sillas did some nude posing in Risk.

Dawn Dunlap in Laura

Helen Mirren in Age of Consent (a 23 year old playing a 17 year old)

Also, see the movie Red Sky at Morning

Fever - totally nude art model.

There are other movies w/brief scenes, not part of the action. Here's some to check out -
Whatever - two girls skip school and visit an art school downtown. This is not listed in the CNDB so I'm going by memory here, but I seem to remember seeing at least one topless or nude model, and the girls giggling about it.
Disney's Absent Minded Professor - Robin Williams walks in the wrong class where art models are posing.
Rapid Fire - Briggita Stenburg as art model in this Brandon Lee action flick

Leonor Varela ("Blade 2") and Gaela Le Devahat in "Les Infortunes de la Beaute".

"Laura" 1979 directed by David Hamilton.
Dawn Dunlap was the young model--she was around 17 at the time

A couple from the silent era:

Audrey Munson poses nude for a sculptor in the 1915 "Purity," of which I've only seen a still plus the New York Times review of the picture -- which reportedly does still exist in an archive though it has never been issued on home video. Audrey was a well-known figure model of her time and did a couple of films which played off her reputation for getting nekkid in the cause of art.

A Lon Chaney silent, from c1920, "The Penalty," features a nude woman (seen from behind) posing for a sculptress.

Rudolph Valentino is a dilettante artist painting 3 seminude (a couple of them each have a titty out) models in "Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse" (1921).

Marian Marsh, or perhaps a BD, does some very fleeting sort of BN while helping out some Bohemians in "Svengali" (1931).

Constance Bennett does some modest strategic nudity in the atelier of Parisian artist Joel McCrea in "The Common Law" (1932). Hazel Court is slightly more exposed, though still not quite bonafide nekkid, in "The Man Who Could Cheat Death" (1959), posing for a sculptor. Rumored, but never confirmed AFAIK, that she did some actual N for the Continental export version; I should think it would have turned up by now, if that was the case.

From a nudier perspective:

There's a 60s nudie-cutie, "Artist's Studio Secrets," which deals with this perennial theme, and highly probable there are others besides.

There's a late 60s 1-reeler that is included as a bonus on several SWV tapes, with a semi-hippie artist fingerpainting 3 or 4 girls in his pad. The guy is too old to be Steve Buscemi, but it's still an amazing resemblance.

Romina Power poses for an artist while running from the law in Jess Franco's "Justine de Sade" (1969). Dianik Zurakowska has some brief N in a late 60s pic called "Cauldron of Blood," one of those pix about a sculptor whose creations are amazingly lifelike -- yeah, because he studied under Walter Paisley! Erika Blanc models for sculptor Farley Granger in an early 70s Italian film that was out on US video as "Sweet Spirits." For a sex twist, nude sculptress Marianne Dupont uses a nude male model in "Maedchen die sich selbst bedient," aka "Tempting Roommates," c1974. Her clay replica of his dick is a stunning tribute to the powers of the imagination.

Pamela Anderson does some kind of body sculpting on a nude model in "Naked Souls" (early 90s). Plaster casting, maybe? It's been a while, and Pam is hard to buy as the artsy type.

Topless artist, rather than model, but cf Kari Wuhrer aggressively painting in a pair of overalls that fail miserably at restraining her rebuilds in the early 90s videorig "Sensation." Cute scene.

Not quite the same thing, but there's an early 90s film with Kate Beckinsale, "Haunted," in which the house is littered with nude paintings of KB done by her brother, though we never see her posing for him. It's well known that Kate's nude m.o. scene is body-doubled, but so apparently are the nude paintings.

"Sirens" (1994), for its joie de vivre, deserves an entry of its own.

Kari Wuhrer was also in Vivid (aka Luscious) as an artist's model / girlfriend, posing fully nude, then pouring paint all over her body and rolling around on the canvas to create the art herself. ...

Don't forget the ubiquitous Alyssa Milano in "Poison Ivy 2: Lily". While under Ivy's "influence" she strips for Xander Berkley (who actually did the drawings, BTW).

Madeleine Stowe posed nude in Short Cuts for artist Julianne Moore (who later walks around with no pants on herself).

There was a CBS TVM of the late 70s, "Gauguin the Savage," which starred David Carradine as the painter, and which actually included some VB broadcast nipples from a Polynesian model during an art session.

The 2 threads on this topic really should be merged, as there is already a good bit of repetition between them (he said, proving it).
